Clearance Units can provide substantial savings due in part to the manufacturer discontinuing certain product lines. These units are sold at a discount in order to move the inventory off its shelves to make room for new product lines.
Demo & Display Units are lightly used by the manufacturer or retailer for demonstration purposes only. In most instances they are just as good as new, but need to be sold at a discount due to their status of being display items. The manufacturer or retailer tests and, when needed, services these products guaranteeing they meet 100% of new product performance specifications.
Scratch & Dent Units are units that were slightly scratched or dented in shipping and returned to the retailer in exchange for an unblemished unit. In essence, there is nothing wrong with these units other than slight blemishes. These units still carry the manufacturer's full warranty.
